MONSTER PROM featuring Club Ascension DJs Robin Roth and Kaerie!
Monster Prom will begin at 6:00 pm in the BRICKSTONES ROOM on the first floor, and this year, the party rocks with special DJ performance by Robin Roth and Kaerie from Club Ascension!
It will be a dance party all night long! But before they come on, we will also be crowning the Scream Diego 2026 Prom King and Queen, so come dressed up!

We are excited to have San Diego goth royalty DJing at Monster Prom – the one and only, Robin Roth!
Robin Roth is a dynamic presence in San Diego’s music and radio scene, bringing over 25 years of experience across radio, events, and multimedia. Known for her tenure at 91X, she held key roles as Assistant Program Director, Music Director, and On-Air Talent. Robin also produced and hosted The 11th Hour on Rock 105.3, a show that delved into genres like Darkwave, Industrial, Electronic Body Music, Futurepop, and Post-Punk.
Beyond radio, Robin has been a prominent figure in the San Diego music community, contributing as a reporter and blogger for NBC’s SoundDiego, where she covered the local scene. Her smooth and sultry voice has also been featured in commercials, video games, and other multimedia projects. A true advocate for San Diego’s vibrant underground community, Robin hosts and DJs two well-known local events—Sabbat and Ascension—

Kaerie
Kaerie brings the dark to Scream Diego!
A longtime fixture in San Diego’s music scene, Kaerie is a resident DJ at Ascension and a co-founder and DJ for Of Lillies & Remains. Her sets move through Gothic, Darkwave, Industrial, EBM, and Futurepop, blending melodic, driving sounds for the dance floor.
For Scream Diego, Kaerie will bring a little extra horror to the mix, weaving in horror movie soundtracks and cinematic surprises.
With nearly a decade behind the decks at Ascension and experience across many of San Diego’s dark dance floors and beyond, Kaerie brings a deep knowledge of dark music and a genuine love of the craft.
